In dem Workshop wird der Themenkomplex "Politische, soziale und kulturelle Wirklichkeiten" in Vorbereitung auf das Zentralabitur wiederholt und anhand einiger Textauszüge in seinen unterschiedlichen Dimensionen analysiert und interpretiert. Dieser Kurs richtet sich an den Grund- und Leistungskurs. Er behandelt u.a. die folgenden Punkte:
• Tradition and change in politics and society − the UK in the European context
• American myths and realities – freedom and equality
• Voices from the African Continent: Focus on Nigeria
• The impact of Shakespearean drama on young audiences today − study of film scenes
• Visions of the future − utopia and dystopia
